Alion Science and Technology has received the cyber security and information systems technical area tasks multiple award contract (CS TAT MAC) from the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC).
Under the $5bn contract, Alion will conduct technical analysis, research, development, and testing and evaluation of software analysis, information assurance, knowledge management, and information sharing, along with modelling and simulation (M&S).
Alion CEO Bahman Atefi said:"As the DoD looks to strengthen its cyber and information systems capabilities, Alion’s expertise in all of the key contract areas will help to identify both incremental and large-scale improvements.

CS TAT MAC is part of the DTIC Information Analysis Centers (IACs) programme and Alion has supported the IACs for more than 45 years.
Alion has helped the department increase the productivity of research, development and acquisition. It is expected to continue to align its research efforts by providing Better Buying Power 3.0 to ensure cost-effective workplace innovation, productivity, and standardisation.
