India and Russia will conduct a joint anti-terror exercise, Indra 2010, from 15 October to 24 October in Chaubattia, India.
The Indra exercises will include a series of mock anti-terrorism missions in the mountains at altitudes up to 3,000m above sea level while training to use each other’s weapons.
The 280 Russian troops will be equipped with lightweight infantry suits protecting 80% of the body surface from small-calibre bullets, according to Xinhua News Agency.
