A section of the Australian Army has demonstrated the abilites of its latest combat weapons and armoured vehicles to military officials as part of Exercise Choong Ju (EXCJ), conducted at Puckapunyal Military Area (PMA) in Australia.

The Australian Army’s combined arms training centre commandant Colonel Michael Kingsford said the EXCJ aimed to make the army’s junior officers and soldiers aware of the effects of latest weapons, and how best to use them in operational scenarios.

In addition, the Royal Australian Air Force demonstrated live close air support with the in-service F-111 and F/A-18 aircraft.
