The Canadian Army will receive aircraft survivability equipment (ASE) integration for its CH-147 Chinook medium to heavy lift helicopter programme from Danish military solutions provider Terma.

Under the contract, Terma will provide AN/ALQ-213(V) electronic warfare management system (EWMS) for the integration of warning systems radar, infrared (IR) as well as laser-guided missiles.

The AN/ALQ-213(V) EWMS suite accommodates new sensors and special mission payloads, and provides combined threat awareness displays and coordinated countermeasure ensuring situational awareness and improved survivability for the operator.
