The US Army has awarded a task order to engineering and technology applications company Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to provide technical and management support services.
SAIC in association with SNVC will provide services to enhance and integrate enterprise-wide information technology capabilities of the army’s Chief Information Office (CIO).

Under the contract, support services for areas such as enterprise architecture; portfolio management; strategy; command, control, communications, computers and information technology; and operational capabilities will be provided by the SAIC team.
The task order awarded under the information technology enterprise solutions-2 services contract totals $55m and has a one-year base period of performance with two one-year options.
The company will carry out the work primarily in Arlington, Virginia.
