The US Army has contracted technology supplier Intermec for the supply of Automatic Identification Technology (AIT-IV) devices.

The AIT-IV contract includes the supply of CK3 and CN3 rugged mobile computers, a SR61 hand-held bar code scanner, a PD42 commercial bar code printer, a PF8 desktop printer and a PM4i RFID printer to improve the US Department of Defense’s (DoD) operational efficiency and productivity.

The US DoD's Army Contracting Command is the contracting agency for the three-year contract, with an option to extend it by another six years.
