The US Army has awarded a $12.1m contract to Snap-on Industrial to provide industrial tools and related equipment required for the army’s maintenance work.

Under the five-year contract, the company will supply tool loads for forward repair systems – mobile maintenance repair bases used by the military – according to a report in bizjournals.com.

The work is set to be carried out in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and is expected to be complete by 31 May 2014.
