The US has delivered four Mi-17 cargo helicopters to the Pakistan Army to support the country’s anti-Taliban operations and humanitarian efforts.
The Russian-built medium-weight, single-rotor helicopters were provided at the request of Government of Pakistan and US officials said that more Mi-17s were being identified to help Pakistan in the future.
