The US Army has awarded a $51.5m contract to Bell Helicopter Textron to provide five Bell 412EP helicopters.
The firm-fixed-price contract also includes logistics support, spare parts package, special tools and training.

The task order is expected to be complete by the end of 2010.
Work will be performed at Quebec, Canada (88%); Piney Flats, Tennessee (8%); and Fort Worth, Texas (4%).
US Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal in Alabama, is the contracting authority.
