Fidelity Technologies has been selected by the US Army for the second round of its simulation, training and instrumentations omnibus contract (STOC II).

The US-based defence supplier is one of a group of defence contractors selected for STOC II.

By qualifying contractors, the US Army hopes to speed up the process of evaluating bids for training systems.

The cost of the contracts to be awarded under the programme in the next ten years is estimated to be $17.5bn.

Companies applying for STOC II qualification were evaluated based on past performance, cost and excellence in management.
