Cubic Defence has been awarded two Australian Army contracts to provide collective training services and support Australian and US instrumentation during Exercise Talisman Sabre 2011.
Under the three-year collective training services contract, the company will provide a range of services in support of the Australian Army Headquarters Forces Command and the Headquarters 1st Division.
Services include exercise planning, observer / trainer support, operational analysis, medical training and cultural awareness training as well as live simulation activities, such as replication of physical terrain.
The second contract involves providing support during Exercise Talisman Sabre 2011 for indoor and outdoor combat instrumentation training.
The contract, part of the joint combined training capability (JCTC) initiative, is designed to help Australian and US forces to participate seamlessly in live, virtual and constructive (LVC) training during major exercises.
The company will work with other Cubic subsidiaries, including Cubic’s Mission Support Services business segment.
