The Royal Dutch Armed Forces and Rheinmetall have concluded a framework agreement to supply a wide range of different ammunition types to the Dutch Army.

The long-term framework agreement ensures access to a comprehensive range of top quality ammunition at short notice, while contributing to simplified procurement flows.

In 2010 the Royal Dutch Armed Forces placed an initial order for modular propelling charges for the PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzer as part of the agreement.

Rheinmetall provides the Dutch Army with practice and service ammunition in multiple calibres.

The potential order volume is expected to reach €200m over a ten-year timeframe.
