AECOM‘s joint venture with ANHAM has been awarded a maintenance and capacity-building contract by the US Army to support the Afghanistan National Army Technical Equipment Maintenance Program (A-TEMP).

The contract has a performance period of one year and includes four option years with a funded value of $29.9m, and if all options are exercised the contract will have a potential value of $181.9m.

As per the new programme, the joint venture team will provide maintenance services to Afghan National Army military vehicles and equipment, while developing and training local nationals in vehicle maintenance operations.

The new programme supports the ongoing efforts of the US Army in Afghanistan, enhancing the skills of locals in areas of management, administration and leadership.
