Finnish defence and security company Patria has been selected to supply armoured modular vehicle (AMV) 8×8 chassis to the Slovakian defence forces.

Patria will develop a new prototype of the AMVXP 8×8 chassis based on Patria AMV vehicle for the joint Slovakian-Finnish 8×8 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) development programme.

The new vehicle is intended for use by both Slovakian and Finnish armed forces.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been selected by the US Army for mission training complex capabilities support (MTCCS) contract.

The contractual scope includes providing computer network security and conducting simulation and gaming exercises in virtual and constructive environments.

The US Government has approved the sale of Patriot Configuration-3+ weapon system with integrated air and missile defence (IAMD) battle command system (IBCS) capability.

The proposed sale includes 208 Patriot Advanced Capability-3 missile segment enhancement missiles, 11 PAC-3 MSE test missiles, four AN/MPQ-65 radar sets, 16 M903 launching stations adapted, IBCS software, and 16 launcher integrated network kits.

The IBCS-enabled Patriot missile system will help improve Poland’s missile defence capability.

Thales and Groupe Gruau have agreed to develop a new connected roof unit for law enforcement and security vehicles.

The new unit will feature a radio, flashing lights, siren, and automatic licence plate reader.
