Management Occupations drive aerospace, defence and security industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 15% of the total new job postings in Q1 2024 and were up by 64% year-on-year. Second highest were Community and Social Service Occupations, which accounted for 14% and drop by 32% year-on-year, and third highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which were 47% of the new job postings and 50% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in aerospace, defence and security industry accounted for 58% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Leidos with 37, followed by Howmet Aerospace with 16, while the highest increase was at Airbus at 100%.
