Japan-based company Fujitsu General’s IT hiring declined 25.2% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 19.18% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 31.6% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.98% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Fujitsu General IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Fujitsu General, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 75% in September 2021, and a 62.86% rise over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 11.84% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 18.18%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5.26% in September 2021, a 42.86% drop from August 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Fujitsu General

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 92.11% share, which marked an 18.64% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 7.89%, registering a flat month-on-month growth.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 26.32% share in September 2021, a 53.85% growth over August 2021. The UK featured next with a 26.32% share, down 23.08% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 10.53% share, a decline of 11.11% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Fujitsu General IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.21%, up by 12.5% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 31.58% share, a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.89% share, down 25% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.32%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
