The top five companies accounted for 9% of patenting activity
Analysis of patenting activity by companies shows that Wing Aviation filed the most robotics patents within the aerospace, defence & security industry in Q1 2024. The company filed 27 robotics-related patents in the quarter, compared with 34 in the previous quarter. It was followed by Boeing with 24 robotics patent filings, SZ DJI Technology (21 filings), and Autel Robotics USA (16 filings) in Q1 2024.
