Computer and Mathematical Occupations drive aerospace, defence and security industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which accounted for 13% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were down by 13% year-on-year. Second highest were Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 11% and rise by 18% year-on-year, and third highest were Management Occupations, which were 38% of the new job postings and 6% lower year-on-year.
