LogIn Crete has launched its new series of combat-rugged notebook computers – Rocky RT986 and Rocky RK986. These are the answer to the market’s constant demand for more powerful computers. Improved in many ways – gives the newly launched combat-rugged computers higher performance to run heavier, more demanding software. With a retained form factor, customers have no need to make any bigger changes, which is a big advantage.

Rocky RT986 and Rocky RK986 have also been upgraded to IP55 and now comply with the latest MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F. Thanks to the memory capacity of 8GB and that as much as 1,695MB now can be dedicated to Intel’s GMA 4500 MHD graphics memory, thus there is no longer any limits to running advanced applications and map software. Both Rocky RT986 and Rocky RK986 have Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor running at 2.26GHz, which is cooled effectively via the chassis which enables quiet and reliable operation.

Rocky notebooks have been on the market for more than ten years and are continuously updated to provide leading-edge technology to the market. During this time LogIn Crete has built up broad and deep knowledge of ruggedised computers, primarily for the defence industry but also for other sectors where tough computers are a must. All products from LogIn undergo a certification programme and continuously prove their high quality and durability.
