DB6 – A New Panther Makes Entrance

LogIn Crete has launched a new handheld computer, the Panther DB6. I is a fully rugged ultra mobile computer, equipped with all the technology its users will need. Panther DB6 can be equipped in many different ways with regards to connectors and optional internal functionality, to meet costumer requirements and application needs. The Panther DB6 is compliant to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65. It has the size of a PDA but the power of a full-size computer.

Panther DB6 is based on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 CPU, 2GB SDRAM and up to 32GB SSD drive. The display is a 5in VGA sunlight readable trasflective LCD with touch screen. DB6 is standard-equipped with bluetooth, one USB, SIM-slot, speakers and docking connector with options to include GPS, WLAN, sealed LAN, sealed USB, sealed serial, sealed audio, WWAN, 2.0MP camera and fingerprint reader. Panther DB6 can run Windows XP or Windows 7.

"Earlier this year, Panther DB6 was introduced at exhibitions and our costumers were very impressed," says Oskar Forssell, product manager at LogIn Crete. The Panther DB6 gives its users the possibility to work with rather heavy applications on a handheld computer. Also the graphic performance is better in this version of handheld computers.
