CBRN Capability Building Dutch Armed Forces

As part of HZS continuing support of the operational capabilities of the Netherlands CBRN forces, HSZ conducted two train the trainer courses (in the Netherlands) followed by a one week familiarisation and preparation phase (Czech Republic) for live agent training to their specialist CBRN military forces and trainers, during June and July.

The results of this training will enable the Dutch Military conduct their first live agent training under field conditions later in the year, utilising their own instructors with HZS safety support.

This ongoing training and assistance will facilitate advanced training individual and group training to improve individual and collective skills and to test and improve their CBRN response capabilities, when they assume a new multifaceted civil defence and assistance role at the end of the year.

On April 26 1996, the Chornobyl Centre (ChC) was established as a scientific and research institution, subordinated to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
