GuS to Attend DSEI 2017

GuS Glass + Safety is a manufacturer of periscopes and bullet-resistant glass supporting more than 40 armies worldwide. The family-owned company has been 40 years specialised and dedicated to innovate in high-quality vision concepts for armoured vehicles, including both periscopes and glass windows.

We will present innovations in periscopes for live-extension programmes or upgrades, including waterproof housed periscopes for a longer lifespan and the first sand-resistant periscope with a ceramic layer, as well as fold-away periscopes that save inner space and probably the biggest fold-away periscope.

All new GuS armoured glass windows are a result of intensive research on lamination technologies to guarantee a longer lifespan.

For this reason bullet-resistant glasses from GuS also have a four times higher abrasion resistance against sand versus ordinary glasses to ensure a lasting high-quality during operations.
