From 1 to 12 July 2012, a CBRN Basic awareness course was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

A two week CBRN basic awareness course was successfully conducted for Abu Dhabi Police EOD personnel during July by HZS ME.

The course provided the EOD personnel with a mix of CBRN information and practical exercises.

The integration of the practical exercises with the participants EOD training enabled them to realize how their roles and equipment can be reconfigured to deal with actual CBRN threats.

Practical training was given using the new HZS simulants and for training with the AP4C Detector.
