The Indústria de Material Bélico do Brasil (IMBEL) has selected Canadian software company NordiaSoft for the Brazilian Armed Forces’ new generation of tactical radios.
Under the deal, the company will provide its Software Communications Architecture (SCA) solutions for Brazil’s new and advanced Software Defined Radios (SDRs).

The NordiaSoft eCo Suite for the SCA version 4.1 is a comprehensive Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that allows developers to model, create, deploy and test software components that run in real-time on a wide range of operating environments.
The eCo Suite includes tools that are used to develop SCA models, automatically generate all associated source code, monitor and debug SCA systems, and allow any type of human-machine interface (HMI) to control the software-defined tactical radios.

By GlobalDataThe NordiaSoft solution also includes an SCA Core Framework and a full list of SCA devices implementing the Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC) and the Wireless Innovation Forum (WInnF) application programming interfaces (APIs).
