Renk Group has obtained orders worth more than €45m ($52m) to supply transmissions for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr).
The company will deliver its HSWL 256, HSWL 354 and AGB300 transmissions for integration into the Puma infantry fighting vehicle, the Büffel armoured recovery vehicle and the Boxer armoured transport vehicle.

These orders form part of the ongoing expansion of the Bundeswehr and are intended to support the operational capability of the armed forces.
The ordered transmissions will be produced at Renk Group’s Augsburg headquarters in Germany.

The HSWL 256 model supports engines up to 850 kilowatts (kW), operates with typical vehicle weights between 35 and 45 tonnes (t), and offers six forward and six reverse speeds.
