The US Army has finalised a contract modification with BAE Systems valued at over $390m to upgrade additional Bradley Fighting Vehicles.
This agreement covers the production and support of Bradley A4 models, which will serve as replacements for earlier versions currently in use by Army personnel.

The first deliveries under this contract are scheduled for completion by October 2026, with work on the vehicles already underway.
According to BAE Systems, the Bradley A4 is intended to provide updated capabilities for the Army’s Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) formation.
The platform features digitised electronics designed to improve situational awareness, network connectivity, and communication within the ABCT.
Its design also incorporates common components to reduce logistical requirements in maintenance and support operations.

It’s critical that we continue upgrading Bradleys to the modern A4 configuration so that war fighters have the equipment they need to dominate.
“This award not only fuels our commitment to keep the Army and our allies ready for the fight, but it also ensures our US manufacturing lines stay hot and ready for continued production.”
Production and support activities for the Bradley A4 are being carried out across BAE Systems’ US defence industrial network.
Facilities involved in this effort include locations in Aiken, South Carolina; Anniston, Alabama; Minneapolis, Minnesota; San Jose, California; Sterling Heights, Michigan; and York, Pennsylvania.
The company is working in partnership with Red River Army Depot (RRAD) on these efforts.
This latest contract follows previous agreements between the US Army and BAE Systems related to the Bradley programme.
In September 2024, the US Army requested BAE Systems to increase production of Bradley A4 Armoured Fighting Vehicles through a contract modification worth more than $440m.
Late in 2024, BAE Systems Land & Armaments secured a contract from the US Army to produce additional M2A4 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and M7A4 Bradley Fire Support Team platforms.
