The collaboration is set to combine AimLock’s systems into Overland AI’s uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV). The objective of this integration is to offer multi-mission solutions that incorporate a human-in-the-loop methodology for military personnel.

Overland AI’s UGV, which is intended for modern warfighter, will now incorporate AimLock’s systems, enabling it to engage in contested environments such as GPS-denied zones and areas with jammed communications.

Overland AI co-founder and CEO Byron Boots said: “Overland AI is transforming our warfighter’s capability through robotics and artificial intelligence increasing their safety and effectiveness on the battlefield.

“We are especially proud to partner with AimLock, whose multi-mission solutions exemplify the versatility of our payload integrations and give the Armed Forces a decisive advantage across every terrain and domain.”

In addition, AimLock’s systems, powered by its Core Targeting Modules, known as Keystone (CTM), will enhance Overland’s UGV decision-making speed and accuracy across a range of mission sets. These include Counter-UAS, Direct Action, Force Protection, Integrated Defense, Support by Fire, and Strike Anti Armor.

Overland AI’s UGV is also compatible with a range of AimLock’s systems, such as Spur, Rampart, Summit, Switchback, and ROLS, enabling configuration to meet the precise kinetic engagement needs of the end user.

This integration will be showcased at the upcoming Association of the United States Army (AUSA) event.

AimLock CEO Bryan Bockmon said: “The evolution of autonomy on the battlefield is changing the very nature of ground operations as we know it, and our systems are at the forefront of helping the warfighter prevail against the enemy.

“We are proud to be partnering with Overland AI on bringing AimLock’s autonomous systems to its UGV and to support their mission of equipping our armed forces with the most advanced, dependable autonomy solutions to increase ground power and save lives.”

In August 2025, the US Army granted Other Transaction Agreements (OTA) to three companies, including Overland AI for Uncrewed Systems (UxS) autonomy.
