Saab has received an order from the US Department of State to provide its Giraffe AMB multimission radar system and other related services.

The 3D G/H-band surveillance radar will be used to protect deployed personnel from incoming threats and provide enhanced situational awareness in the battlefield.

The combat-proven radar system is capable of detecting rocket, artillery and mortar attack threats as well as conduct air surveillance.
