Viento GT – Easy-to-Use, Thermographic Infrared, Thermal Camera

The affordable Viento-GT, is a new thermal imager specially designed for a wide variety of thermal monitoring tasks. The thermographically calibrated thermal camera has no ITAR restrictions and is available in two form factors, enclosed or split board.

Feature-rich, Sierra-Olympic’s innovative thermal camera is available in two form factors (enclosed and split board) and each comes with two pixel resolution options: 320 x 240 or 640 x 480. The imager provides power, control, and video, delivering uncompressed 8-bit or 16-bit digital data through a Gigabit Ethernet interface. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) injector, IRT Analyzer® plot software, and the developer’s documentation are also included.

The Viento GT’s complex thermographic analysis software is intuitive and easy to set up with one click. The camera is ideal for applications that include temperature measurement, or thermography, real-time process monitoring, hot-spot detection, bio and medical imaging, non-destructive testing (NDT), industrial inspection and quality control. The GT thermal camera comes with proprietary image contrast enhancement (ICE), a wide array of lens options, and a one-year warranty.

Midwave-infrared (MWIR) cameras are utilised by the oil and gas industry to detect and visualise emissions of hydrocarbon gases such as methane, propane and butane.
