HALCON Desert Sting
Desert Sting utilises inertial guidance augmented by global navigation satellite system (GNSS) information (GAINS).
A semi-active laser (SAL) seeker configuration with or without GNSS) further improves accuracy performance against designated targets.
The different models of Desert Sting are the DS-5, DS-8, DS-16, and DS-25. These models are differentiated based on their size and weight.
