The Nato Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) has awarded a training support contract to Learning Tree International.

The five-year contract requires the company to provide training solutions for up to 33,000 Nato staff across 28 European and North American countries.

Commercial training services will be provided through a combination of on-site courses at more than 40 different Nato locations.

The locations include permanent classrooms on Nato sites that are fully equipped by Learning Tree; publicly scheduled training events in Learning Tree Education Centres; and through Learning Tree's virtual learning environment, AnyWare.

"We have been working with Nato for more than 20 years, giving us an unparalleled understanding of their environment."

Learning Tree International EMEA managing director Sean Craig said: "We have been working with Nato for more than 20 years, giving us an unparalleled understanding of their environment and an appreciation of their need for flexible, timely, and effective training solutions.

“Learning Tree is uniquely equipped to meet Nato's training requirements, thanks to our wealth of experience in delivering on-site training globally, the real-world experience of our instructor force, and our investment in digital learning technology.”

Services included in the contract are project, programme, and portfolio management, cyber-security, and technical IT support.

The NCI Agency services are designed to support Nato consultation, command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.
