Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ modular systems division (MSD) has secured a $3.5m contract to supply specialty products for US warfighters.
The company delivers products supporting unmanned aerial, radar, missile, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), chemical biological radiation, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) detection, and warfighter support programmes and systems.
Kratos Modular Systems Division president Tom Mills said: "We are honoured and proud that these important national security related government customers have given us the opportunity to provide these products in support of the US warfighter."
Work under the contract is expected to be carried out at an undisclosed manufacturing facility.
In February, the company was awarded an unmanned ground, sea, and aerial target system contract from the army.
The $2m contract was awarded to Kratos unmanned systems division’s (USD) subsidiary Micro Systems.
It required the company to deliver additional engineering service hours and hardware production for the army’s ground aerial target control system (AGATCS), target vehicle control equipment, and associated ancillary equipment.
In January, the company was contracted to continue support for US Strategic Command’s (USSTRATCOM) Joint Functional Component Command for Space (JFCC Space), providing expanded satellite RF monitoring, interference detection, geolocation, and mitigation services.
