Iran has renewed its offer to equip the Lebanese Army and extend bilateral defence cooperation without any preconditions, Iranian ambassador Ghazanfar Roknabadi has confirmed.

Fars News Agency has quoted Roknabadi as saying, "Iran stands on Lebanon’s side and is fully ready to provide any assistance it demands at all levels, especially with regard to the army’s armament."
