The Singapore Ministry of Defence has placed an order with ST Kinetics, a unit of Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Electronics), for next-generation armoured fighting vehicles (AFV).
ST Kinetics will produce and supply an undisclosed number of AFVs along with integrated logistics support including training, spare parts and documentation, as part of the contract.
Scheduled to be delivered beginning 2019, the vehicles are intended to replace Ultra M113 AFVs of the Singapore Army.
Cruz Associates has received a contract worth $140m to provide technical support services to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) (SOAR(A)) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, US.

The deal requires Raytheon to provide support services for the US Army’s AN/FPN-67 fixed-base precision approach radar (FBPAR) and AN/TPN-31 air traffic navigation, integration and co-ordination system.
The US Army Contracting Command has awarded a $41.1m follow-on contract to FAAC in support of the US Army’s Virtual Clearance Training Suite (VCTS) programme.
