The US Army Contracting Command has awarded a $46.22m support services contract to The Boeing Company.

Boeing will provide support services for the wide-band satellite communications operational management system through September 2021, as part of the contract.

Colt Canada has secured a $25.4m-worth rifle production contract from the Canadian Government.

"The US Army has awarded Ceradyne a contract modification worth $36.61m for the production of hard armour protective inserts."

A total of 6,820 new rifles will be produced by Colt Canada for use by the Canadian Rangers of the Canadian Armed Forces, as part of a three-year contract.

Leidos has been awarded a one-year contract modification worth $35.87m by the US Army Contracting Command for work on the information technology systems.

The modification will see Leidos perform repair, maintenance and engineering works for the information technology systems of 13 organisations located globally.

The contractual work will be performed in Costa Mesa, California, US, for a period of one year.
