Four Mi-17 helicopters have been returned to the Pakistan Army at Chaklala Air Base after being overhauled by the US.

Pakistan received 12 of the 24 Mi-17 helicopters that were sent for US-funded maintenance overhauls in 2009.

The remaining eight are scheduled to be delivered to Pakistan in 2011, according to The Associated Press.

The US has recently delivered two Bell 412 helicopters to the Pakistan Army and will overhaul an additional 10 Mi-17 helicopters.
