The US Department of Defence has awarded a contract to VSE Corporation to perform work in support of missions in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan.

Under the $38m contract, the company will work on the mine-resistant ambush protected joint logistics integrator II to be used by the army and marine corps.

VSE will also provide up-armouring support for high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles and heavy equipment mechanics for field services support.

In addition, the support work will include counter radio-controlled improvised explosive device application systems integration as well as operational support for the US Air Force Engineering Networked Training Center.
