The Italian Army has awarded a contract to New Holland Construction to supply 142 new construction equipment units.

Under the €21m contract, the company will supply crawler excavators, wheel loaders, graders and dozers to renovate the army’s current fleet of construction equipment machinery.

The supplied construction equipment will be used throughout the army’s various military installations across the globe to support safety and defence actions.

Equipment will be sourced from the company’s facilities in Italy and Germany and deliveries are scheduled over the next 12 to 24 months.
