NC3A has selected American Science and Engineering Inc. (AS&E) to provide Z Portal X-ray screening systems under a $6.2m multiyear service contract.
The Z Portal multiview cargo and vehicle screening system will be used at strategic security checkpoints.

Z Portal produces photo-like images, and highlights organic contraband, such as explosives, drugs, stowaways and alcohol.
