Although the investment company has not disclosed the transaction terms the stake was worth €614m at yesterday’s closing price, online news service Bloomberg reported.
The purchase will make Dubai International the fifth largest shareholder of EADS, but the investment company says it has no plans to take a board seat or an active role in the company.
