Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for the conversion of seven aircraft for the Colombian Ministry of Defence.

The $84.5m contract also includes publications and aircraft warranty.

Work will be carried out at the company's facility in Stratford, Connecticut, US, with an estimated completion date of 30 November 2014.

The US Army Aviation and Missile Command will be the contracting activity.
