ATK has received a follow-on modification contract for the production of the mortar guidance kit (MGK) under the US Army Accelerated Precision Mortar Initiative (APMI) program.
The $50m contract is in response to an Army urgent Operational Needs Statement (ONS) to provide additional precision mortars to US forces in Afghanistan.
