Nanocomp has been awarded a manufacturing contract to develop manufacturing best practices for a next-generation of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and tapes under the US Army manufacturing technology programme (ManTech).

The company will work in partnership with Northrop to further advance CNT manufacturing processes intended for near-term insertion into aircraft applications.
