Ukraine will deliver its first 11 BTR-4 armoured vehicles to Iraq in November, Ukrainian Deputy Industrial Policy Minister Kostiantyn Kucher has said.
Iraq and Ukaraine signed a contract in 2009 to supply arms worth over $550m as part of a series of contracts in the area of military and technical cooperation.

Under the terms of the contract, about 400-plus armoured vehicles, in particular the BTR-4, ten An-32 aircraft and aircraft repair services, will be delivered over a period of three-and-a-half years.
“6 January is the Day of the Iraqi Army, one of the country’s most important events and one of the largest holidays. Therefore, in January our 11 BTR-4 vehicles will participate in the parade,” he said.
The first three An-32 aircraft will be delivered by the end of 2010, and another three between 2011-2012, according to Kyiv Post.
