Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in September 2021
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 75.71% in September 2021, a 4.09% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 11.31% in September 2021, marking a 17.37% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 7.5% in September 2021, a 16.67% drop from August 2021.

Top five apparel companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 25.38% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s apparel industry during September 2021 over previous month.
Robert Bosch posted 574 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered an increase of 9.33% over the previous month, followed by Amazon with 355 jobs and a 39.22% growth. Zalando with 94 IT jobs and Dassault Systemes with 78 jobs, recorded an 18.99% rise and a 420% rise, respectively, while Apple recorded a 15.38% increase with 60 job postings during September 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s apparel industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s apparel industry IT hiring activity with a 30.64% share in September 2021, a 0.57% increase over August 2021. The UK featured next with a 17.43% share, down 55.78% over the previous month. France recorded an 8.77% share, a growth of 117.14% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.97%, down by 5.68% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 17.48% share, registered a growth of 1.68% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 14.31% share, down 17.06% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.23%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
