Adsol and Jakusz Collaborate at Black Sea Defence and Aerospace Exhibition
The seventh edition of Black Sea Defence and Aerospace Exhibition was held in Bucharest on 16-18 May 2018. Representatives of Romanian’s company Adsol, on the bases of many years of cooperation, joined forces together with Jakusz and presented (among others) Jakusz‘s products designed for protection against explosion, mainly explosion containment vessels designed for army, police and airport security services.
New project for Algeria
After several years of talks, Jakusz has signed a contract with CENZIN for delivery to MoD Algeria of munition disposal plant designed by Jakusz. Within less than two years, Jakusz will manufacture and install on site several technologies of safe disassembling of ammunition of various calibres and types. Most equipment will be installed in specialised containers, equipped with the necessary installations and media.
We will also provide technologies for recycling of the materials collected for the needs of the civilian industry. Jakusz specialises in designing complex technological lines for demilitarisation.
WIDI – Women in Defence International
During Eurosatory 2018 in Paris, the first meeting of WIDI (Woman in Defence International) took place. Jakusz commercial director Marta Rados-Jakusz is a member of the founding committee of the organisation.
More than 100 women from the global defence industry were invited. Initially, the formula of organisation is open to participants’ ideas. The main idea is business networking and mutual support for women who remain a minority in the arms industry.
