Zeppelin has participated in this year’s IDEX Show in Abu Dhabi on February 18-22, one of the biggest military exhibitions in the world. Zeppelin had their display on the booth of their local partner, the Bin Jabr Group.

Two double-side expandable shelters were shown, one equipped as a command post/conference room, the other as mobile operating theatre. The command post came with a semi-hydraulic extension mechanism and a worldwide innovation, a high-frequency shielding for lightweight expandable shelters.

Although a large number of international delegations have visited the booth, the countries of the Middle East have been in the focus of the Zeppelin presentation. Zeppelin intends to establish a local presence in the Gulf region, first as a centre for sales and after-sales activities but with the long-term aim of a local production facility in order to cover the increasing demand for mobile systems from the Arab world.
