Bike Track has won a contract with the Canadian Forces Joint Signal Regiment (CFJSR) for the supply of 2in ICM products for their deployable infrastructure.
The CFJSR contacted Bike Track to replace their current flooring, which was not sufficiently anti-static treated. As a signals unit, they are responsible for a large amount of communications equipment and the ancillary network and power cables, and so electro-static discharge is a grave concern.
The unit wanted the Bike Track 2in ICM product due to the ability to put all the wires and cables in an anti-static treated floor, that was also rugged, deployable, and expeditionary.
They purchased a small test amount first and used it on a Nato exercise to evaluate it. After the test products passed the evaluation with flying colors, the rest of the regiment was then outfitted with the flooring.
