Sensonor will be attending Eurosatory 2018 and displaying its new STIM300 tactical grade inertia measurement unit (IMU), which is successfully in use with multiple defence and commercial applications.
STIM300 IMU is the smallest, lightest and highest-performing commercial MEMS IMU in the market. New features include reduced start-up time of less than one second and IRBS of 0.3°/h.

STIM300 is a cost-effective ITAR free solution for systems that only had FOG’s as an alternative when reaching for the performance level that STIM300 can offer.
It is a small, lightweight, low-power, ITAR-free, high-performance IMU housed in a solid precision machined aluminium housing and is insensitive to magnetic fields.
Compared to alternative solutions, it offers:
The STIM300 offers 0.3°/h gyro bias instability, 0.15°/√h angular random walk, 10°/h gyro bias error over temperature gradients, 0.05mg accelerometer bias instability, and axis misalignment of 1mrad. The weight is less than 0.12lb (55g) and the volume is less than two cubic inches (33cm³). STIM300 is in volume production.
