Vehicle Loop for HF Communications on the Move

Comrod has developed a magnetic loop antenna for the use on all vehicle platforms with HF radios.

The HF Loop will support ALE and provide communications in the 1.6MHz – 30MHz band from 0km -500km+. The loop is ideally suited for those difficult communications zones in valleys and mountainous areas.

Using high-angle sky wave propagation (NVIS) eliminates the HF skip zone often experienced by HF communications. The full loop is rugged and compact in size and therefore fitting in most land platforms. Comrod has also developed a full naval version for the use on all sea-going vessels.
